Every Business Begins With a Story!

Big Apple Plumbing began with a passion for providing quality service directly to honest homeowners like you. The journey to our company’s beginning provided us with the in-depth experience needed to provide the high-quality service that only we can provide.

1997

Our founder, Jason Wilkat, started working in New York City in the residential, commercial and industrial fields of plumbing. In the years following, Jason had the opportunity to serve within the large corporate plumbing world, both in New York and then in Colorado.

2014

17 years later, it hit Jason that what he truly loved was connecting with nearby homeowners by relieving the plumbing woes through responsive and genuine customer service and quality plumbing solutions, all while charging a fair rate for only repairs that were necessary. Thus, Big Apple Plumbing was birthed.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another great job from Big Apple. Disraeli was here ahead of schedule and re-plumbed the hack job the previous owners had done on the kitchen sink in no time, finishing ahead of schedule. He was courteous, professional, personable, and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Jason and his team at Big Apple are my go to guys!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jason with Big Apple Plumbing was able to make it out to our house next day for a main line blockage and helped us clear out the line. He was honest, straightforward, and walked me through every step of the process while I observed him work for over an hour. We’ll definitely be hiring him again for any plumbing needs in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent experience all around! Jason scheduled my appointment which was quick and easy and even had a same-day opening! Gabriel showed up and was incredibly pleasant, kind, and clearly knowledgeable of his craft. He was a genuinely nice person and a pleasure to talk to. He walked me through the entire process and addressed any concerns and questions I had before he began working. He allowed me to watch him work (he offered, and who doesn't want to watch a camera run down some pipes underground?) and filled me in on everything he was seeing and what was or wasn't good (thankfully it was all good).

I appreciate the ease and the friendly confident service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Big Apple Plumbing to do our sewer line replacement and we were very happy with the work that was done. Jason was very quick to respond to our initial request for a 2nd opinion and sewer scope. He talked us through all of our options and patiently answered all of our questions. The actual work to replace the sewer line was completed extremely quickly and with super minimal impact to our yard, which we really appreciated!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This company is as good as it gets! The owner Jason came out himself replaced my leaking water heater same day! He was very friendly and absolutely loved our dog. We have had some poor experiences in the past with plumbers but this by far was the best experience we have ever had with a plumber. I recommend this company and will only use them for future plumbing needs. Thanks Jason!
