Tankless Water Heater Repair Services

Diagnosing Complex Tankless System Issues

Tankless water heaters are modern marvels, but when things go wrong, it can feel like your home is thrown off balance. Issues with these water heaters can stem from a variety of factors, like gas pressure inconsistencies, flow rate problems, or blocked heat exchangers.

Digital manometers check gas pressure, infrared thermometers detect temperature changes, and flow meters analyze water flow rates. These tools, combined with expertise in decoding error codes, allow us to address problems like faulty sensors or ignition failures efficiently.

Emergency Repairs

Our technicians are available 24/7 and arrive prepared for any urgent repairs needed. From ignition malfunctions to sudden shutdowns, we work quickly to restore your system and get your household’s hot water source back to normal.

Common Tankless Water Heater Repairs

Clogged filters, mineral buildup, and worn-out components are some of the most common issues we fix. For example, scale buildup inside the heat exchanger can restrict water flow, while faulty ignition systems can prevent the unit from starting. Our experienced technicians use professional-grade cleaning solutions for descaling, recalibrating sensors, and replacing worn parts to ensure peak performance.

Maintenance Options

Preventing problems is always better than fixing them later. Big Apple Plumbing offers tankless water heater service including maintenance options. This includes descaling to combat hard water buildup, cleaning intake filters, and inspecting burner assemblies for wear. Regular maintenance not only improves efficiency but also extends the lifespan of your system. As trusted tankless water heater installers, we recommend annual maintenance to keep your home investment running like new.

Tankless Water Heater Installation Services

Choosing the Right Tankless Water Heater

A larger family might need a high-capacity unit, while a smaller household could benefit from a compact model. We’ll help you make the best choice by evaluating your water usage and budget. With access to leading brands, our tankless water heater installers can connect you with some of the best products in the market.

Expert Installation for Maximum Performance

Our team maps out the best location for your unit to optimize performance and avoid unnecessary wear. During installation, we test gas pressure with manometers, confirm water flow with flow meters, and fine-tune temperature settings for consistent results. By the time we leave, you’ll have a system calibrated to perform its best.

Upgrading from Traditional to Tankless Systems

Switching from a tank system? We make the process easy by retrofitting your home’s plumbing and safely removing your old unit. Many of our customers love the endless hot water and lower energy bills they experience after upgrading.

Compliance with Local Codes and Safety Standards

Having a tankless water heater brings a lot of benefits to everyone at home一endless hot water, better energy efficiency, and a compact setup. But things don’t always go as planned. Maybe your unit isn’t heating water fast enough, or it’s throwing error codes you’ve never seen before.

Had Disraeli Macias come out to look at my Navian Tankless Hot Water Heater and perform an annual maintenance service on it as I was overdue for this by 2 years. Disraeli is a fantastic guy and kept me well informed throughout the process, which included reinstalling some valves on the unit which had been incorrectly installed upside-down. Took photos, performed a thorough descaling, described everything as he went through - couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

Our tankless water heater was not properly installed when our home was built. Disraile was out the day we called due to some issues and was helpful and knowledgeable. Great work. Recommended.

We had a very urgent situation in our home. We had an old leaking water heater. I frantically called plumbers looking for someone to answer the phone. The owner, Jason answered himself and walked me through how to shut off the water going into the tank. The next morning bright and early his team came out and installed a new top-of-the-line tankless water heater. We are super impressed with the way it turned out.

Jason and his team installed our tankless water heater without any hassle. Excellent communication and customer service!

They came out on Saturday and removed and installed the new tankless water heater on Wednesday. I really enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them.

We had a tankless water heater installed by Big Apple Plumbing LLC, and it’s amazing! The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of our home.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another great job from Big Apple. Disraeli was here ahead of schedule and re-plumbed the hack job the previous owners had done on the kitchen sink in no time, finishing ahead of schedule. He was courteous, professional, personable, and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Jason and his team at Big Apple are my go to guys!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jason with Big Apple Plumbing was able to make it out to our house next day for a main line blockage and helped us clear out the line. He was honest, straightforward, and walked me through every step of the process while I observed him work for over an hour. We’ll definitely be hiring him again for any plumbing needs in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent experience all around! Jason scheduled my appointment which was quick and easy and even had a same-day opening! Gabriel showed up and was incredibly pleasant, kind, and clearly knowledgeable of his craft. He was a genuinely nice person and a pleasure to talk to. He walked me through the entire process and addressed any concerns and questions I had before he began working. He allowed me to watch him work (he offered, and who doesn't want to watch a camera run down some pipes underground?) and filled me in on everything he was seeing and what was or wasn't good (thankfully it was all good).

I appreciate the ease and the friendly confident service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Big Apple Plumbing to do our sewer line replacement and we were very happy with the work that was done. Jason was very quick to respond to our initial request for a 2nd opinion and sewer scope. He talked us through all of our options and patiently answered all of our questions. The actual work to replace the sewer line was completed extremely quickly and with super minimal impact to our yard, which we really appreciated!
